Update From Administrator – August 25, 2020

August 25, 2020

As always, our team and I hope this email finds you safe and healthy. I am pleased to report that we continue to remain COVID-free for both our staff and residents.

As you know more than anyone, it has been some difficult few months as our center has battled to keep COVID-19 out of our building.  While we know that there could be a possible surge with the season changing, we are braising ourselves and working even harder to prepare and keep our residents and staff safe.

Our entire team has been at work planning for this possibility, and we would like your input as we continue to refine our strategy to keep all our residents and staff safe.  To that end, we have developed this brief survey that we are asking family members and residents to complete.  It will only take you a few minutes and will help us learn what your priorities and main concerns may be. Please see survey link at the end of this letter.

We continue having the outdoor visits Monday through Friday 10:30 AM or 2PM and, we also offer alternative methods for you to reach your love ones. We currently have tablets which are readily available to our residents to do zoom visits, play games or entertain themselves.

Also, window visits are allowed as always but we would like to clarify that the windows are supposed to remain closed during those visits. Please contact the nurse on the unit and they can make available a phone so you can communicate with your love one at the time of the visit.

Our next “Townhall” conference call on Zoom will be this Friday August 28, 2020 @12:30 PM.

Please click on this link to take a brief survey: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/ZXF356S which will remain open until August 31.

Your participation is greatly appreciated.  Thank you for your consideration and stay safe.

Thank you and please stay safe and healthy!

Team Lanessa.
