Update from Administrator – May 19, 2020
My team and I hope this note finds you healthy and well,
As I had mentioned last week, we completed our baseline testing requirement of residents and staff and did fall within the guideline put forth by Mass DPH completing 90% or better. Lanessa’s residents have remained COVID-19 free (knock on wood) throughout this process, a fact which my team and I are very proud.
Also, because of our hard work, we scored a perfect 28 on our Mass DPH Infection Control phase 1 audit meeting all designated core competencies and requirements. I cannot put into words how proud I am of my team for working very hard to protect our residents and ourselves from this virus and their tireless dedication in making sure that at the end of the day we are all safe and healthy.
We continue to schedule consistent staffing on our care units. We continue to follow all CDC and State guidelines implementing them as soon as received. We share all this information with our staff and make sure we are constantly offering additional training.
We will have our “Town Hall” zoom call again this Friday at 12:30 where my team will be available to answer your questions. As we look forward to the holiday weekend, thank you for your ongoing support of our center and stay safe.
Sincerely
Alan R. Bates
